Present Institute: NIDDK, NIH I did my MS from University of Mumbai in Microbiology from Institute of Science and PhD from one of the prestigious research institutes of Indian Council of Medical Research, National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Mumbai, which is dedicated for research in reproductive biology. My areas of research interest are understanding the molecular basis for sperm- egg interaction, identifying newer genes which have a specific role in folliculogenesis in ovary and studying their function by mouse transgenesis. Currently I am working in National Institute of diabetes, digestive and kidney diseases (NIDDK) from February 2003. Basically I am very quiet and shy person and take some time to make friends. Despite of this I have a farely big friend circle in India and in US. I have a special interest in drama and stage performance. I had enacted few hindi dramas in Mumbai. I take life as it come with very less expectation of something exceptional to happen in it.
